This Island is famous for many reasons and one is Wild Elephants. Minneriya National park, Kaudulla National park, Udawalawe National park, Wasgamuwa national park are famous for wild Elephant safari. Wilpattu National park is the largest in the country and YALA National park is the second. Both are famous for Leopard and bear. And many birds and other animals too. Kumana National park and Bundala National parks are famous for bird watching. But all other National parks are filled with birds too.
Surfing
Weligama, Mirissa, Matara are best place for beginner in surfing. Best time will be November to March. And if you are a professional in surfing then we recommend Arugam Bay area. But Arugam bay also having beginners surfing school. Where you can spent more time learning surfing.
Village Tour
Village tour is an amazing thing to do in your holiday in Sri Lanka. Mix with local people and its culture you will experiences one of the most different cultural experience in the world.
